David Castillo is the Owner  & CEO of Castle Group Consulting, bringing over two decades of extensive experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management, Maintenance Management, and Quality Management. With a robust career spanning more than 25 years, David has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise across various industries, including pharmaceutical, automotive, chemicals, food additives, packaging, intermodal, and construction.

Concurrently, David served 15 years (1997-2012) in the United States Marine Corps as a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense Specialist, Infantryman, and Safety & Environmental Officer. David was recalled to active duty twice (2003 & 2005) for Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). His military background instilled in him a strong foundation of fidelity, discipline, strategic planning, and a commitment to excellence, which he continues to apply to all his professional endeavors.

David's academic credentials include graduating with Honors from Purdue University with a Master's in Business Administration (MBA), graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University, and a Dean's List graduate with an Associate of Applied Science in Environmental Technologies from Wright College. Additionally, he is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and an OSHA 500 Authorized Trainer, further showcasing his dedication to operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Throughout his career, David has successfully led numerous EHS initiatives and managed large teams of EHS professionals. His leadership has been instrumental in achieving and maintaining ISO certifications and recertifications from renowned registrars such as TUV, InterTek, BSI, and SAI Global. His expertise in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and implementing best practices has significantly enhanced the safety and environmental performance of the organizations he has served.
